The athletics 2023 season Kicks off, and top track stars across the globe including Ferdinand Omanyala will aim to prove their form and fitness on the Indoor Olympics Tour.
Speaking on the start of the season, Kenyan Track Star Ferdinand Omanyala shared his schedule, as he is keen to break even more records.
Omanyala wrote,

The 100m African record holder will begin with the indoor Olympics in France, finishing at home turf before taking a break.
Omanyala will first participate in Meeting Miramas Metropole on 4th February.
The 27-year-old will then proceed to ‘Meeting Mondville France’ on 8th Feb, then ‘Meeting de Paris indoor on 11th February’ and finish his France tour at the ‘Meeting Intl Lievin on 15th February’.
From 24th to 25th February the 100m African champion will have a Kenya Weekend Meet at Nayo stadium.

Ferdinand Omanyala Reveals He Intents Focus More on 200m
Omanyala revealed he will focus more on the 200m where he intends to break the national record which currently stands at 20.14.
“Actually, this season, I will be more focused in the 200m races and hopefully compete in international events,” he said.
The sprinter said he wants to use the Indoor meets to improve on his first 50m considering his strength is in the last 50m.
“After that, I will take a break for approximately one month and then leave for a training camp in South Africa,” he added.
