Ferdinand Omanyala Looks Back at a Stellar 2022 Season

For celebrated sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala, the 2022 season has been nothing short of stellar.

Despite the lows that came with the season, the 100M African record holder chose to focus on the highs of the season, highlighting his achievements in his races in the country, continent and internationally.

Ferdinand Omanyala’s Top Five best 2022 Times

Looking back at the 2022 season, Omanyala wrote;

“Everything that has a beginning has an end.”

The sprinter highlighted his top five best times in both 100M and 200M, writing;

“As the 2022 season curtains come down … *Top 5 best 2022 times*

In 100M, the sprinter started the season on a high note setting a world-leading time of 9.85 at the third edition of the KipKeino Classic.

Omanyala also highlighted 9.93, 9.98, 10.00 and 10.02 recorded in his subsequent 100M races.

In the 200M Category, the sprinter also had his four best recorded times, which include; 20.33, 20.43, 20.50 and 20.65.

Some of Omanyala’s achievements in the 2022 season include beingthe100M Commonwealth champion, 100M and 4 by 100M National champion and100M Kipkeino classic Winner.

Ferdinand Omanyala has the 3rd fastest time in the world in 2022 and has set a new national record in the 60M race.

As the 2022 chapter drew to a close the sprinter is 100M, 200M and 4 by 100M National champion.
