Omanyala who ran a time of 10.11 secs, set a new meeting record, breaking the previous 10.31secs record held by Olympic Champion Marcel Jacobs.
In the 200m race, Omanyala clocked 20.50secs to emerge ahead of the other sprinters.
Omanyala spoke about his win, saying it is a morale booster.

Omanyala who is eyeing triple gold in 100m and 200m as well as the 4x100m relay at the African Athletics Championships in Mauritius in June said the Italy race was a good build-up.
“This is great build up for me definitely heading in to the African Championships where I want to go and win three titles.” He said.
The Kenyan sprint sensation remains unbeaten in all his 100m races this season.
Ferdinand Omanyala now heads to Dessau in Germany, and then to Czech Republic for the Ostrava Golden Spike on May 31.
