Filmmaker Faki Liwali has revealed the reason why he parted ways with rapper Nyashinski as his manager.
Speaking in a candid interview with Richard Njau in his YouTube Vlog Clean The Airwaves, Fakii said that after several business disagreements with Nyashinski, they decided to part ways in 2019.
Fakii, who is behind the first Kenyan film to make it to Netflix, 40 sticks, said that they had to end their contract because they couldn’t agree on anything at the time.
It had reached a point where it would have drained their relationship.
Fakii, however, said that ending the contract was just a business move they came to terms with but the two are still good friends.
Njau and Fakii in the series also spoke a lot in regards to the entertainment business in Kenya and how he has managed to stay afloat in the two decades he has been in business.
