FAFA Market

FAFA (Festival for African Fashion and Arts) was founded in 2008 by a group of individuals from various nationalities during the Kenyan post-election violence.

FAFA has its annual event dubbed ‘Fashion for Peace’, which is a fashion show that brings together established African designers and creative individuals to showcase their unique and fashionable collections. It continues to organize events as a call for peace in the African continent.

This month FAFA has an epic event dubbed FAFA Neighbourhood Market on the 11th from 11am – 6pm at The Juniper Kitchen, on Muthangari Drive. To all the fashion and food lovers out there, come and be entertained by Wanny Angere in Moving Cultures, Fashion Food Demonstrations with Joe Holt and an opportunity to shop from the Organic Farmers Market. This is one event you don’t want to miss!

It doesn’t stop there; a well-known and established fashion designer Ann Mcreath of KikoRomeo will be holding a fashion design class for the youth from 11am to 2pm for a small fee Ksh 1000. Aspiring fashion designer, this one is for you! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.

See you there!
