Ethic Set To Drop Their Debut Album

Popular Gengetone group Ethic is set to drop their debut album, Big Man Bado Odinare. The group announced via their Instagram handle, saying that it might be one of the biggest albums in Kenya this year.

Ethic hinted that this album will be featuring other artists such as Khaligraph Jones and from the comments, their fans are excitedly waiting for this project. The group confirmed that the album would be ready in 3 weeks. The Quarantei hitmakers further added that the album will be available online on platforms such as Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify and iTunes for iPhone users, and Android app for Android phone users.

The group which is comprised of Seska, Mtoto Wa Eunice, Zilla and Rekles is one of the most sought after music groups in Kenya. They rose to fame after releasing the track Lamba Lolo in 2018 which became an instant certified club banger. The group later went to release songs such as Pandana, Position, Thao and Chapa Chapa among others. Their latest release Quarantei is enjoying favourable reviews from fans.

Despite the controversies that have clouded some their lyrics, there is no doubt that Ethic revolutionized the Play Ke Movement through Gengetone Music. Their consistency has continued to earn them fans in Kenya and abroad. They have also graced the Coke Studio stage and worked with celebrated Jamaican artist Konshens. The group has also done collaborations with big Kenyan artistes such as The Kansoul and Boondocks Gang.
