Grammy nominee, Jamaican Reggae singer Etana will be making her 3rd trip to Kenya this May. Fondly referred to as ‘The Strong One’ just like her 2008 debut album, Etana is a talented vocalist who has a special relationship with her Kenyan fans.
Previously, Etana has been in Nairobi alongside Tarrus Riley at Carnivore and with Richie Spice and Luciano at the KICC grounds. 2019 marks her return as a headline to her own show.
The concert dubbed ‘Etana Returns’ is slated for May 11 at Uhuru Gardens and promises to be a night of pure reggae and a platform to see Etana for 2 hours. Tickets are trading at Ksh 2500 for advance regular and Ksh5000 advance VIP.
The promoter is not marketing other acts meant to share the stage with Etana so the information is skewed. But Etana’s catalogue of sweet reggae music would hype you enought to girdle up for the event.
Check out her pages on youtube for songs like ‘Love Song, Weakness In Me, My Man, I Rise, Reggae, People Talk, Richest Girl’ the list goes on and on. Etana was formerly a background vocalist for Richie Spice so she’s got the fire and fury for stage performance.
May 11th at the Uhuru Gardens along Langata road should be a lit Reggae ride.
