Eric Omondi To The Rescue, Fuels 250 Boda Boda Bikes

Renown comedian Eric Omondi has once again made headlines with his latest act of kindness. This time around, he decided to put a smile on the faces of over 250 boda boda operators in Lang’ata by fueling their bikes.

Omondi has been on a philanthropic run lately, and his latest act of generosity has certainly caught the attention of Kenyans far and wide.

It’s no secret that fuel prices in Kenya have been skyrocketing lately, and Omondi has decided not to sit idly by and watch his fellow countrymen suffer.

This is not the first time he has made a bold statement about the high cost of living in the country. He recently made headlines for protesting against the government’s inaction on the issue, and even attempted to storm the National Assembly with his band of shirtless protestors. Talk about a man who stands up for what he believes in!

But Omondi’s generosity doesn’t end there. Just last week, he helped free over 30 women who were serving time at the Lang’ata Women’s Prison for petty offenses. Now that’s what we call using your platform for good! And now, he has given over 250 boda boda operators a reason to smile by paying for their fuel.

When Omondi arrived at the petrol station, he mingled with the boda boda operators and even took to Instagram to share a video of the heartwarming moment.

“Issue kubwa sanaa hapa Kenya ni Mafuta na Unga…Watu wanaumia sanaa. Families are going without food. A bigger percentage of these people ni watu wa Nduthi. We are calling upon the Government to reduce fuel prices whatever it takes,” he wrote.

Netizens couldn’t help but react to the heartwarming video, and the comments section was flooded with messages of gratitude and appreciation for the comedian’s kind act. It just goes to show that a little bit of kindness can go a long way in making the world a better place.
