Eric Omondi Clears The Air On Allegations He Conned Kenyans

For the past few weeks, award-winning comedian Eric Omondi has been on the spot together with his ‘Big Quiz Show’ co-host Betty Kyallo after going MIA on Kenyans.

The Big Quiz Show (TBQS) which premiered in March on KTN was Kenya’s first-ever LIVE TV gaming show. The two hosts, however, dropped the ball and disappeared from the scene, prompting netizens to allegations that they were conned.

Speaking to Mpasho interviewer Kalondu yesterday, Eric came clean on the situation and revealed that he never stole or conned anyone.

“That show does not belong to Eric Omondi and Betty Kyallo, and anyone who has to be paid is paid by big quiz limited. We are hosts, betty and I were contracted to host the show. There is a confusion, nimeona people are saying betty and eric scammed kenyans of millions. We are employees, we have not chickened out, all our phones are on,” said the king of comedy.

When asked why the show was cancelled as soon as it started, he said, “Itarudi tu, it had some technical issues. The show is live, people are playing live. It will be back sooner than you think,” he said.
