Elon Musk To Revamp Twitter To ”X”

Twitter Owner Elon Musk has confirmed the revamp of Twitter’s logo, proposing the removal of its iconic bird character. Furthermore, the entrepreneur has sought input from the Twitter community, calling for suggestions for a new logo to represent his ambitious “everything” app named “X.”

Excitingly, Elon Musk has already taken a step forward in this direction by sharing a tweet with a visual graphic showcasing a potential logo for the “X” app. This suggests that he might have a suitable replacement in mind.

Since acquiring Twitter for a staggering $44 billion in October of the previous year, Musk has had to navigate through a turbulent period, marked by mass layoffs, conflicts with advertisers, and a new rival in the form of Meta’s Threads.

Despite these challenges, the billionaire remains determined to revolutionize the functionality of the social media platform. He has propounded the concept of an all-encompassing “everything app” named “X.”

As per reports in April, Bloomberg revealed that Musk had incorporated Twitter into X Corp., one of three holding companies he established the previous year with various X holdings.

The specific details of the forthcoming app are yet to be revealed, but Musk hinted at drawing inspiration from the famous Chinese App, WeChat. Owned by multinational technology and entertainment conglomerate Tencent, this app offers its users a wide range of features, including messaging, video chatting, gaming, photo sharing, ride, and food ordering, as well as banking and shopping capabilities.
