Elijah Kanyi Bags 3 Awards As Journalists feted At AJEA Awards

Talented, consistent, and hardworking journalists were feted on Thursday, May 4 feted during the 2023 Annual Journalism Excellence Awards.

The event, which was held at the Safari Park Hotel and had National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula as the Chief Guest, saw journalists from print, TV and radio honored for the different works they have done.

Elijah Kanyi of Africa Uncensored went home with three awards after winning Best Investigative Story for Digital, Camera Person of the Year and Journalists of the Year.

Others who won include: Development and Public Affairs Reporting Print – Elvis Ondieki, Lifetime Achievement Award – Fred Obachi Machoka, and Most Promising Young Journalist Award – Sammy Shiyonga
