Dusit D2 Hotel Reopens This August

Dusit D2 Hotel is set to reopen its doors on 1st of August after six months of renovations following the terror attacks at 14 Riverside in January. The hotel was one of the worst hit businesses in the complex that houses 40 other companies

The upscale hotel which was opened in 2012 was a popular choice for tourists visiting Kenya as well as locals for accommodation or dining and night outs. Dusit is home to Soko Restaurant, Soi, Rouge Deck, Zing Bar and Devarana Spa which were busy spots and we hope they will continue to thrive. The hotels beautiful interior was unmatched and their reservations filled up quite quickly all year round.

“Over the past five years, dusitD2 Nairobi has welcomed leisure and business travellers from all corners of the globe and established itself as one of the leading international hotels in the city. We now look forward to reaffirming that position through our unwavering commitment to service excellence, our new range of impressive dining and meetings experiences, plus the fresh new look and feel throughout the property.” DusitD2 Nairobi, General Manager, Mr Michael Metaxas.

The hotel’s social pages which have been up and running have been counting down to the opening highlighting the #weareunbowed message and a flag tour supported by local and international airlines, ministry officials, churches, celebrities as well as the Dusit employees and guests. According to comments on the posts, many people are excited that the hotel is reopening and are looking forward to visiting again.
