DJ-turned music producer DJ Space has announced that he’s in his final stages of his debut album “No expiration date” which will drop towards the end of the year.
Turn up featuring Mayonde and Elvis Who, released a week ago, is his first single. The album is expected to feature several African music acts.
“‘No expiration date’ is my affirmation to you that great African music and talent has no timelines or expiration dates,” he said while speaking to the Star newspaper.
“I hope that through the collaborations I bring forth, this album will be a strong product representing a new era of African DJs being the connectors between artists and culture.”
The No expiration date is expected to drop on October 20 and to feature such artists as Kidum, Nigeria’s Ice Prince and South Africa’s Zwai Bala, plus many more.
Locally, Atemi, Khaligraph Jones, Wyre, Juacali, The Kansoul, Johny Skani, Qritiqal and Diana Mayaka are expected to be in the album.
