Internationally acclaimed Jazz singer Dianne Reeves is set to perform in Nairobi tonight at this year’s Safaricom International Jazz Festival.
The Grammy award winner will headline two shows, one at Uhuru Gardens and the other at Enashipai, Naivasha – which will go down on Saturday.
Speaking on Wednesday at a Meet & Greet event, Ms. Reeves expressed her excitement about being in the country, stating that Kenya felt like home, the temperature and calmness reminded her of where she grew up. She went on to say that she’s looking forward to a good time and promised a good show – she even mentioned the show will have a few surprises. And we can’t wait!
Ghetto Classics and Kato Change are some of the Kenyans that will be gracing the stage tonight.
Gate open from from 6pm as the show is set to start at 8pm. Regular tickets are Ksh 2000/- and Ksh 500/- for students.
