How does a month long festival, set on the most stunning location on the planet sound? Well, Diani Beach festival is gearing up to be the first of its kind in the region. Diani Beach Festival takes place from 9th December to 2nd January, right on the beach. The festival will include sports activities and top-notch performances from both local and international acts.
The line up includes an eclectic mix of artists. Firstly, the opening act of the festival will be UK label HedKandi and artists: DJ Malin Linnea and Ellie Sax performing in full glare of fireworks.
Also, Sauti Sol will light up the performance stage on 11th December. As well as, Vanessa Mdee, Tanzanian Pop Princess, who is the New Years’ Eve headliner.
Expect DJ Gloria Ansell from Hong Kong and Australia. Also, Beatboxing artist from the UK, PeteBox will perform. Kenyan Roots & Culture reggae band, Roots Connection will set the vibes on the beach. DJs on the line up include DJ Mkuzi and Crème de la Crème, Suraj, Lee The Deejay, Beng Beng, Riz, Kace, Pierra, Wijje and Hypnotiq
They have set up events sprinkled throughout the festival including the Chill & Grill Event that will feature Tetu Shani, Alisha Popat, Elvis Who and The Beathogs. Also, a Whats Good LIVE X showcase featuring Barak Jacuzzi, Steph Kapela, Taio, Shappaman, EA Wave, Marushka, and Meka. There will also be Poolside Fashion Shows curated by fashion producers JW and ’The Dapper Twins’.
Apart from the music, daytime activities will include sports such as Jet Skiing, Yoga, Scuba Diving, Skydiving, Deep sea Fishing and Beach Volleyball.
The packages range from Bronze, Gold to Platinum. Gold and Platinum Package is inclusive of concierge and complimentary Hennessy & Moet. The Platinum package of the opening weekend offers return flights plus accommodation, concierge service and access to the VIP lounge.
