Welcome to another episode of crispy fresh hot new music. We strive to put a spotlight at what’s sizzling and trendy in the 254 musical space.

Kansoul feat Ochungulo Family – Na Iwake

Bonified hitmakers, The Kansoul have teamed up with relatively new cats in the game called, Ochungulo Family for a dope remix. Madtraxx, Mejja and Kidkora spice up the dancehall themed jam ‘Na Iwake‘ to give it a different feel. The jam is heavy on sheng lingo and the hood imagery that makes it fun to listen to.

Jovie Jovv – Kibare Kwa Face

One of the upcoming Trap Stars in Nairobi is Jovie Jovv who stands out from his lyrical wit and swanky flow. ‘Kibare Kwa face’ translates to slap on the face, and the set up of this jam is how he is bossing the industry, he is about to take over. His ability to intertwine Sheng and English appeals to audience across the divide and he is quickly gaining popularity.

Ayrosh – Commoni

Earlier on this year, we did enlist Ayrosh as one to look out for in 2019 and he is steadily proving he has a place on the scene. The urban contemporary act has a brand new Kikuyu love song and it is banging. ‘Commoni‘ is heavy on live instruments, sick layout and delivery is over the top, ment for stage performance. Ayrosh is a talented act who is boss on stage.
