As we wind up the week, here are some of the bangers out in the 254 that you should have on your playlist over the weekend.
Wyre- Mimi Na Ye
Critically acclaimed 254’s reggae-dancehall legend Wyre has been silent since the release of his album. He is back on the scene with this new heat, ‘Mimi Na Ye’ produced by Ulopa Ngoma, and it’s smashing. The reggae-infused ballad is a club banger with slow ‘body-a-shake’ tempo and Wyre delivers on his writing and lyrics. The jam might get some good buzz for some time.
Kristoff- Handle It
Kristoff aka Mluhya Wa Busia has cemented his place as the artist who sings for the ladies and just turn-up street bangers. He just released ‘Handle It’ produced by his compadre Ulopa. The jam is another description of his quest for fine ladies and he requests to handle. Kristoff does not bother with writing deep or thought-provoking jams so everything he spews gets a pass.
Willy Paul – Murd3r
Gospel act Willy Paul is always releasing new music which feeds his plan to stay in the limelight all the time. He just released Murder as a conscious story narrating how his enemies are out to finish him and take over his family. The jam is not necessarily a gospel tune but it will transcend the gospel and secular scene as Willy Paul appeals to all.
