#CrispyFresh: New Music From The Kenyan Scene This Week!

We just closed out January, and it’s only right we highlight the new music dropping in our space. The songs being released this early in the year set the tempo for artists and industry as a whole.

Yes Bana – Khaligraph Jones feat Bien

The OG Khaligraph teaming up with Sauti Sol’s Bien-Aime for this track is monumental. The phrase ‘Yes Bana’ was popularised by Ethics lead Rekless. This jam has that Trap feel, bars on a great level and the bridge is a catch from the jump.

Mungu Baba – Arrow Bwoy

Singer extraordinaire Arrow Bwoy is gearing up to drop his debut album titled ‘Hatua’ and we have the lead single. Going in mellow style and being thankful for his musical journey, he delivers a beautiful ballad. Check out the compelling story on the video below.

Controller – Willy Paul

Singer Willy Paul who turned to secular last year is still on his grind. He is dropping jams singing for the women and he is not playing. Controller describes how a lady makes him feel from the looks to the dance moves. We are seeing more of bikini models, raunchy and erotic scenes on his videos. He might be finally happy to express his art and not boxed.

Chapa Chapa – Kahush

The new name in the 254 Hip-Hop games Kahush has bars for days. His last big single ‘Mi Siwezi’ made people inquire about him. Chapa Chapa is another showcase of his skill, bars, flow and cadence. Check it out below.
