Crazy Kennar Enlists At Prestigious AFDA School for The Creative Economy

Popular content creator Crazy Kennar has embarked on a new chapter by relocating to South Africa to pursue studies at the prestigious AFDA School for the Creative Economy.

AFDA, a leading private higher education institution based in South Africa, specializes in a range of creative disciplines including film, television, performance, business innovation and technology, radio and podcasting, and creative writing. The school boasts campuses in Auckland Park (Johannesburg), Observatory (Cape Town), Durban North (Durban), and Central (Port Elizabeth).

Renowned for nurturing top talent in the African film industry, AFDA is a fitting choice for Kennar as he aims to elevate his content creation career to new heights.

Kennar, a graduate in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, plans to operate between Kenya and South Africa while honing his creative skills, as revealed in his Instagram announcement.

“Embarking on a new entertainment journey! Join me as I document my experiences as a Kenyan creator studying in South Africa, bridging life between both countries while producing global content,” Kennar shared enthusiastically.

The move comes at an opportune time, with content creation emerging as a lucrative field globally. Kennar’s decision aligns with the growing trend of creators leveraging digital platforms for substantial earnings, especially with Meta (owner of Facebook and Instagram) announcing plans to introduce monetization opportunities for Kenyan users by June 2024.

This development signals a promising era for content creators, businesses, and entrepreneurs in Kenya, showcasing the country’s vibrant digital landscape and potential for tech companies to expand their market presence.

Kennar’s venture into creative education underscores the evolving opportunities and aspirations driving Kenya’s digital content industry forward.
