Cosmic Homies, one of Nairobi’s hottest underground bands, wowed New York City on Sunday.
The experimental quartet played a 30-minute set at acclaimed Harlem DIY spot, The Shrine — and the crowd loved it.
Despite having only been around for a little bit over a year, the Homies had an electric stage presence that was both playful and professional. The band played its first U.S. show at the South by Southwest Festival in Texas last month and, for our own sake, we hope that we’ll get to see a lot more of them going forward.
