Corazon Asks For Privacy As She Battles Depression

Influencer Corazon Kwamboka has revealed that she has been battling depression for some time now.

The mother of two said that after delivering her second born, she fell into a postpartum depression which has made her life difficult.

She plans to come out and help other women who might be facing the same once she heals.

“Yes I have struggled with depression, what I’m going through is not easy,” Kwamboka said on social media.

“And I’m not the only one who is gone through it. One day when I heal I will address just to encourage and give strength to another woman who feels how I feel.”

Kwamboka asked for privacy as she handles the situation.

“For now, I ask for privacy. Thanks for all the beautiful messages. Ps, I can’t believe people can be so insensitive to make such as a topic of discussion,” shared Corazon Kwamboka.

A number of Kenyan celebs have come out to ask for help as they battle depression.

Mental health issues in the entertainment industry are widespread and severe. Studies in the United Kingdom, North America and Australia show that rates for suicide and suicidal thinking, depression, anxiety and substance abuse are significantly higher among entertainment industry professionals than the general population.
