2020 seems to be on a marathon towards its end. Days are going so fast as time seems to be on a race. With the second last quarter of the year winding up so fast, below are some events to attend as you wrap up the final weekend of September in style
The event which aims to promote the reading of Kenyan literature and amplify unheard talented voices has been running since Tuesday 22 September 2020 and will continue running till Sunday 27th September 2020. This edition is for the poet lovers and while poets such as Teardrops, Lexas Mshairi and Karanja Wangui have already performed, Revolutionary Spitter, Mufasa Poet and Poet Norman will perform on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday respectively. The Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7 pm while Sunday’s show will begin at 5 pm on the host’s IG Live @lexa_wendy.
Uradi Movie Premier
This Kenyan movie is set to premiere on 25 September 2020 in a one of a kind drive inexperience at the Galleria Mall Drive-In Cinema, from 4 pm-8 pm. There will be subsequent screenings of the same on 26 and 27 September at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. Tickets are retailing at KES 5000 per car on the day of the premier and KES 3000 per car on 26 and 27 September. Click here to get yours.
47 Million Reasons Concert
Sponsored by Standard Media Group, Home Boyz Radio and Tusker lager, this edition will be graced by the super talented Nadia Mukami. Having been graced by stars such as Samidoh, Arrow Bwoy and Fena Gitu in past editions, this edition is promising to serve nothing but the best live music experience.
