Swat, Zilla, Rekles and Seska, the four young kids who make up controversial group Ethic, have been dropped from this year’s Hype Fest festival scheduled for April 27 and 28.
Hype Fest, which has lined up a string of top entertainers to perform in the event to be held at Ngong Racecourse, announced on social media that Ethic has been dropped because of it’s on going legal battles.
The announcement also comes about four days since SWAT was attacked by a mob in Umoja following a misunderstanding. The mob thought he was a thief after he ran into an apartment while trying to get away from police who were on patrol.
The Hype Group limited, the company behind the event, didn’t state whether the incident contributed to their recent actions.
The Kansoul, Khaligraph, Ochungulo Family, Naiboi, Olive Karmen are among artists set to perform.
