New age reggae sensation Jamar McNaughton popularly known as Chronixx will be making a stop in the 254 as he proceeds on with his world album tour – Chronology.
KICC will ring out loud with sweet reggae and dancehall music on the 21st of July as Chronixx and his endeared Zinc Fence Band will perform jams like ‘Skanking Sweet’, ‘Likes’, ‘Smile Jamaica’, ‘Black Is Beautiful’ and many more to the reggae faithful in Nairobi.
Kenya holds a special place in Chronixx’s career and he never shies from expressing so. This July will make his 3rd performance visit but he has been here on vacation severally. Back in 2011, his first record, ‘Behind Curtains’ was first played on Uptown 91.1fm garnering so many fans in Kenya and East Africa even before he was recognized in his own country.
Chronixx was declared a big deal in 2013 after his record ‘Smile Jamaica’ hit international media.
Kenyans on Twitter were frenzied after a fake poster popped online that claimed Chronixx gate charges will be Ksh3000 regular and Ksh10000 VIP, and Otile Brown to be among the curtain raisers.
There was an outcry from KOT stating that amount was too much and should be reduced. The organizers, however, came out stating that the final prices will be announced soon and promised to be fair.
