Three of the most buzzworthy stars of 2017 are coming together – and this one just feels right.
Lupita Nyong’o (who seems set to star alongside Rihanna in a made-for-twitter scam movie) has teamed up with Oscar winner Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover for a project that has had people scratching their heads for a minute.
First came surprise ads that had initially seemed to indicate some kind of venture by the rapper Jay Z – a new album perhaps?
But then came the real details during a Wednesday night NBA game: the project is in partnership with Sprint, which took part ownership of Tidal earlier this year, the film appears to be exclusive content for Sprint customers.
We’re not quite sure what that means for us, but we’re pretty happy to see some of Black Hollywood’s freshest, young stars rocking it out together.
