“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo…” – Rob Siltanen

The region’s biggest Comic Convention is set to take place in Nairobi next month, and there is an exciting opportunity for Kenyan animators

The world’s largest cartoon and animation network, Cartoon Network is looking for African animators, and particularly those from Kenya, to submit their pitches as part of a new initiative.

Cartoon Network Africa Creative Lab is an African creative competition designed to bring innovative, local short form content to Africa through its channel, and digital platforms.

Taking place from the 11th to the 12th of August it encompasses gaming, animation, comic books, movies, cosplay, vloging and technology.
