Former Kiss 100 FM morning presenter Caroline Mutoko has officially joined the fashion space after debuting her new lipstick line.
Dubbed ‘I AM’, the former radio queen, who switched to vlogging after resigning from the station several years ago, has now joined a list of other celebrities such as socialites Huddah Monroe, Amber Ray and vlogger Annah Kinuthia who also have make up lines.
Mutoko revealed that she partnered with Pauline Cosmetics to create I AM. is a leading Kenyan brand of cosmetics that started in 2013. The brand has grown into one of the biggest in EAST Africa.
“It’s for the fierce boss lady who never stopped being a girl, it’s for the lady who still wants to bring style and glamour to the boardroom, it’s for the woman who is still ‘becoming’ and for that super woman who is doing it all but still cares for how she looks,” Mutoko said.
Nothing was actually planned.
I AM came up after Caroline Mutoko challenged Pauline Cosmetics’s founder and CEO Nelly Tuikong to come up with a line that mirrors her (Mutoko) personality. That was in December 2018.
Tuikong finally did it this month and named it after her.
The line goes for Ksh 1800 and is available in all Vivo Activewear branches.
