Capital FM’s DJ Protege Robbed, Puts Sh 100k Reward For Any Info That Might Help

Capital FM DJ Protege’s house was broken into on Tuesday as insecurity case in Kilimani hit an all time high. The Popular DJ took to social media to announce that he has lost several items following the break in.

The thieves, who broke in the morning, walked away with
two laptops, a Go-Pro, Hard discs and his personal data. He has reported the matter to Kilimani Police station.

“So am spending my morning at the police station following a break in at my home this morning. I’ve lost 2 laptops, a Go-Pro, Hard discs, accessories & my data (music, photos, mixes and personal data) collected over years. Worse is I was to attend a friends funeral today but that’s cancelled now. What a set back,” he said.

The DJ believes the thieves follow him on social media because of their timing. Protege shared that he was ready to pay Ksh 100,000 to anyone with any information that might lead to arrests.

“A reward of 100k for any info that will lead to their recovery,” he said.

“Am sure whoever stole them will read this coz its like they timed me, please just dumb the hard discs where you dumped my bag.”

The robbery comes just a month after Homeboyz Radio host Patricia Kihoro’s house was also broken into. Kihoro, who was on a holiday out of the country when it happened, lost her laptop, TV, camera among other things.

Kilimani area has experienced an increased number of break ins lately as residents and police are left scratching their heads how thieves are accessing the houses and leaving with the property despite the tight security.

On Monday, four suspects said to have been terrorizing the residents were arrested following a trap by police.
