Cake Art Affair: How It All Went Down

Cake Art Affair held its best edition yet at the Two Rivers Mall grounds on the 13th of April 2019 – under the theme “Ray of Sunshine”. The event attracted over 3000 attendees, 40 bakers and 30 vendors from the Arts Market. Cake lovers and art enthusiasts were treated to a one of a kind event on with exciting music performances, art displays and a-day long of free cake sampling.

Great music was served as promised by the organizers. The fast rising Kenyan music stars soulful singer Bensoul, instrumentalist Serro and Hip Hop singer Mbithi headlined at the event thrilling fans with their electric performances. Other performers who graced the stage include eclectic the Afro-pop Yozowo Band and spoken word master Willie Oeba.

The event organizers together with their partners AISEC, Rotaract and Bonga, also used the platform to create awareness on depression among the youth. This event is the ultimate place to meet potential bakers for your next occasion, a converging point for Kenyan youth to discover Kenya’s next biggest stars on the live music scene, as well as support and be inspired by their peers’ entrepreneurial ventures. To date, the event boasts of hosting over 75 bakers, 40 live performers and 5,000 attendees.

The 2019 edition which was its 6th edition since inception, was sponsored by Anyiko Public Relations, Gig Dynamics, SWVL, Bonga, and Parapet Cleaning Services.
