Nigerian dancehall-reggae act Burna Boy known for his hits like Yawa-Dey, Soke and Tonight is booked for another show in Nairobi set for the 20th October this year.
He has been booked for Thrift Social-Athleisure Edition at the Uhuru Gardens next month as he is on the ‘Life On The Outside Tour’. This is after he released his 2018 12-track album titled ‘Outside’. The event is a showcase of Creatives, Art, leisure, and fashion with various personalities gracing the event each time.
Among the opening acts billed to perform include Barak Jacuzzi, Coco Emmah, Valerie Muthoni, Wakadinali, and Mixmasterlenny.
This comes in as shocking news and utter disrespect for fans as you’d recall, the last time the singer was in the country, he had words for his fans and the country at large. Burna Boy showed up to his last show at club Privee at 3 am, inebriated and gave a sub-par performance.
He also went on a social media rant, calling Kenyans Peasants, claiming that he needed to do an IQ test for anyone coming in for his shows. He ended up blocking anyone who mentioned his name on Twitter as he waited for his flight out of the country.
Burna was a trending topic for several days in the 254 and guys thought he would never come back here but as the saying goes, whoever pays the piper calls the tunes, you are invited to purchase the tickets to the show.
