Boy II Men Arrive In Kenya For Stanbic Yetu Festival

American R&B music group Boyz II Men have arrived in the country ahead of Saturday’s second edition of Stanbic Yetu Festival at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.

The group is in Kenya courtesy of Radio Africa Group in partnership with Stanbic Bank, Kenya Airways, Sankara Hotel and Martell.

Speaking on the band’s itinerary in the country, Radio Africa Group events manager Somoina Kimojino said they have organized a presser at Sankara Hotel for a briefing of the Saturday concert.

“We shall have a presser at Sankara Hotel for a briefing on Saturday’s concert and so the media is invited to come cover them,” she said.

Tickets for the event are sold out for what could be the biggest concert in Kenya in 2023 are sold out.

Gates for the Stanbic Yetu Festival will open at 4pm, while the concert is expected to start at 6pm.

“We are advising our fans who have valid tickets to be seated by then, and remember no tickets will be sold at the door,” Kimojino said. 

Sauti Sol Set to Perform at Stanbic Yetu Festival Days after Completing American Tour

Days after completing their American tour, Sauti Sol will be among the Kenyan acts performing at the Stanbic Yetu Festival.

Sharing their excitement for sharing a show with Boyz II Men, the group posted:

“The Sauti Sol USA tour 2023 was everything we hoped for and more.

Next stop, Nairobi and Kampala this Saturday and Sunday respectively, for back-to-back shows alongside the legendary Boys II Men before we leave for Europe.”
