Boiler Room Announces Return To Nairobi

Boiler Room has announced their return to Nairobi for another edition of Boiler Room x Ballantine’s True Music Studios.

Boiler room is an online music broadcaster and club promoter based in London, UK.

The platform connects club culture to the wider world, on screen and through parties, film and video, focusing on underground genres.

The broadcaster that started as a live-streaming DJ session in 2010 growing into a global phenomenon will be back in Nairobi from the 28th to the 30th of March 2023, showcasing ‘cutting-edge new developments in the local scene’.

Describing Nairobi as a central hub for East African creativity with a rich musical history of internationally recognized artists, Boiler Room announced they are collaborating with Kenyan artist Coco Em to curate and perform at this year’s show.

Coco Em has lit up dance floors in Europe and Africa with her eclectic sets that move easily between Afro house, amapiano, hip-hop, lingala & more.
