A show that fuses entertainment with education to empower the youth – BYOB TV Show returns! It’s set to premiere its second season on KTN, 5th of Feb at 8 pm.
The reality TV-style show will again see 12 contestants aged between 18 and 26 from various regions across Kenya battle it out for the grand prize of Ksh 5 million. The contestants went through a rigorous selection process at the BYOB Summits held in Eldoret, Meru, Nakuru, Machakos, Mombasa and Nairobi last year. And out the hundreds that auditioned, only 12 makes the cut.
Season one saw valentine Nekesa walk away with the ultimate prize – which included Ksh 3 million in cash and Ksh 2 million in form of mentorship, financial advice and business support.
Greatness Requires Internal Toughness – GRIT is the theme for season two. And contestants will be required to tough it out until the end. Unlike any other local production, the BYOB TV Show seeks not only to entertain but to allow both the contestants and the audience to learn and grow in their entrepreneurial journey.
The show largely focuses on contestants and their approach to challenges set, their ability to adapt to surprises which reflect real-life business scenarios and passion for business. All these, with the aim of encouraging the Kenyan youth to go out and create their own jobs.
Be sure to catch them every Monday, 8 pm on KTN.
