Ben Soul, Xenia Manasseh To Perform at Essence Fest Thanks to Sauti Sol

American magazine ESSENCE is gearing up for their Virtual 2020 Essence Fest. The theme this year is UNSTOPPABLE, and although the organizers want it to be fun filled; they want to make it impactful too. Having grown tremendously in the last 25 years the festival is now a worldwide affair and Kenya is one of the countries they have included.

Held on the Fourth of July weekend, Essence Fest is a freedom and revolution event; a celebration of the core disciplines of Black Culture such as much as fashion, music, food and beauty.

This year, multiple worldwide artistes and personalities such as Michelle Obama will be on the platform.

“Essence is set to serve a fantastic online kickback with a 3-day musical experience. The AFTER DARK, EVENING CONCERT AND GET LIFTED which are sure to bring soulfulness to the comfort of your home.”

The 254 shall not be left behind this time. The Friday Show; After Dark is set to feature Sol Generation Record’s multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and munchies King Bensoul and the beautiful and multitalented Xenia Manasseh.

“s/o @sautisol for putting my name forward for this, ya girl is performing at Essence Fest!!! 🇰🇪✨” says Xenia Manasseh as she shared the news.

Saturday the flag continues to fly high with Kenya’s favourite boy band Sauti Sol ready to deliver a fire performance.

Sauti Sol Set To Perform Alongside John Legend, Bruno Mars In Upcoming Essence Festival

“If you ask me the featured KE artistes are having a great musical year and virtual festivals such as Essence allow us to be a part of their success. If this does not get you looking forward to the weekend, I really don’t know what will.” says Wendy Wangui who has been following the Kenyan music scene closely and even interviewed Xenia for Standard Newspaper’s entertainment pullout magazine Pulse.
