Ben Kitili Quits KTN After 8 Years, Joins Rival Station

Renowned media personality Ben Kitili has resigned from KTN after working at the media company for eight years as an anchor.

Kitili is a household name as he hosted the political show dubbed Inside Politics every Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm, interviewing political leaders from different factions. He also anchored prime-time news every Tuesday on Newsline.

According to Kenyans.co.ke, sources close to the anchor intimated that he is joining NTV as the News Editor.

“He will be helping the managing editor as well as anchor news and host shows,” an insider disclosed.

This is not Kitili’s first rodeo at NTV as he used to anchor NTV Tonight back in the day before quitting in 2013.

Kitili is the latest move by a journalist, ditching one media station for the other. This is because media stations have been reshuffling their faces and shows to work better for the Kenyan family.

It comes just after the Standard group lost Fridah Mwaka and Lofti Matambo to NTV where they have been hosting the 7pm weekend bulletins.
