Azziad Nasenya, Anerlisa Muigai, Wabosha Maxine Among Top Earners On Instagram

Azziad Nasenya, Anerlisa Muigai, and Wabosha Maxine have featured in the list of influencers paid the most from sponsored Instagram posts.

The report has been released by Hopper HQ, an Instagram planning and marketing tool.

On their fifth anniversary of Instagram rich list, women continue to dominate the leaderboard, accounting for 56% of the highest-earning influencers on Instagram in 2021.

Africa and Asia account for 25% of this year’s list, having accounted for only 15% in 2021.

Six Kenyans Feature in 2021 Instagram Top Earners

Six Kenyans made the list of Instagram’s 2021 Top earners.

Azziad Nasenya, Anerlisa Muigai, Wabosha Maxine, Sharon Mundia, Lucia Musau and Silvia Njoki made the list of the 395 highest earners on Instagram in 2021.

Azziad Nasenya

Azziad, popularly known as Kenya’s Tiktok queen became a household name after making a Tiktok dancing to Femi One and Mejja’s hit track “Utawezana”.

She has since diversified her brand, branching to acting, hosting, and creating content.

According to the report, the 21-year-old is ranked 257 among the 395 top-earning Instagram influencers in 2021.

Anerlisa Muigai

Anerlisa comes in second after Azziad, ranked 271.

Anerlisa is the heiress to her parents’ Keroche Breweries.

She’s also the founder and CEO of NERO, a company producing executive drinking mineral Water.

Wabosha Maxine

Wabosha Maxine is ranked 331 in the Hopper HQ rich list.

Wabosha is a content creator with over 400k followers on Instagram, and over 212k subscribers on Youtube.

She’s also the founder of Bosh drip, an accessory retail company.

Other Kenyans featured in Hopper HQ’s 2021 rich list are Sharon Mundia, Lucia Musau, and Silvia Njoki ranked 351, 373 and 374 respectively.
