The buzz has steadily been gaining, for the Africa Nouveau festival 2017 – and that has hit overdrive with the announcement of the performing artists who will be taking to the stage – an eclectic mix of talent representing Kenya’s diverse sound.
Nigerian electro pop/soul singer Temi Dollface, as well as Zouk and House DJ Spilulu as well as Dj Marfox will be in the mix, alongside 19 other top acts.
Supported by the British Council, the festival returns to Nairobi under this year’s theme “Afrobubblegum” – a celebration of fun and fantastical African creativity borne out of love.
The 2-day/2-night festival that will this year take place in Athi River at Small World Country Club from the 10th of November, and will look to bring together curators and creators who look towards highlighting music, food, fashion and film – some of the center-points of creativity on the continent.
The camping experience will allow you to take in, uninterrupted, some of the installations at the venue, which include live music, wellness centers, art installations and a fashion market.
