PR mastermind Anyiko Awoko is set to return to podcasting the second edition of the Kenyan internet series “VIP Access” set to premiere on March 7.
The series will have all-new episodes featuring 18 musicians from across Africa with Awoko as the host and will highlight rising and established hip hop stars from around the continent including fierce Kenyan femcees Groovy Jo, Maandy and Wangechi; Ghanaian rap king M.anifest, Uganda’s Fresh Prince Flex D’Paper and Kenyan star based in the US King Kanja.
The explosive season will feature Certified Kenyan hitmakers Vic West and Mutoriah, as well as a lineup of contemporary, Jazz, R&B, and soulful Kenyan music kings and queens, including Meryl Paige, Olivia Ambani, Muthaka, Pryshon, Coster Ojwang’, Brian Nadra, Mbae, and South Africa’s Pilani Bubu.
VIP Access will explore various topics such as music-making, brand-building, breaking into the industry, career drive, originality, and emerging trends and genres.
This season will provide exclusive access to industry issues from the perspective of Africa’s most talented and brightest individuals. Additionally, the second season will introduce exciting emerging artists who are poised to become Africa’s next biggest acts.
