The show, which hopes to nurture women with exemplary community projects and are passionate about bringing social change into world-class leaders, was first announced in June 2018.
The series will have 26 episodes that will showcase the selected women make tough and stressful decisions as they display their leadership skills.
Over 1000 women had applied during the auditions in June but were streamlined to only 71. Only twelve who reach the finals shall be rewarded by leadership opportunities and a surprise prize.
Veteran journalist and host Jimmy Gathu officially made a return on TV by being the host of the show. At only 20 years old, Brightstar Kasyoka, the Youth Governor for Kitui County, is the youngest woman in the show.
The series will be a platform used to portray to a national audience the capacity and ability of women to lead effectively.
