Andrew Kibe Reveals What Unsuccessfully Running For Lang’ata MP Seat Taught Him

Controversial ex Kiss 100 radio host Andrew Kibe has come out to reveal what running for top government seat in Lang’ata constituency taught him back in the day.

Little known to most people, but before Kibe’s illustrious radio day, he tried running for the Lang’ata MP seat back in 2008.

Kibe unsuccessfully tried to run for MP Lang’ata Constituency via Musalia Mudavadi’s now-defunct United Democratic Forum (UDF) Party in the 2013 general elections.

Posting a picture next to his campaign fliers back then, Kibe revealed that it was one of the most financially straining moves in his life.

He revealed that 8 years on, he learnt that running for office is not cheap and that he lost a lot of money after the stunt.

“8 years ago when I was younger and foolish-er…hii ni kutupa doh na kuingia madeni tupu,” wrote Kibe.

The radio personality best known for his risque opinions has since launched his own station dubbed ‘Rogue Radio’. He revealed it was a smarter career choice as opposed to politics.

“Wacha ni ng’ang’ane na kazi ya kupiga kelele kwa radio,” he said.
