American Rapper Machine Gun Kelly Was Raised In Kenya

Renowned American rapper Richard Colson Baker, who normally goes by his stage name Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), was partly raised in Kenya.

The Cleveland-based rapper shared in an interview with QG magazine that he spent some time in Kenya before moving to Egpyt, then Germany and finally to the United States.

“I grew up in Egypt until I was five or six years old…Egypt and Kenya. And then we moved to Germany for a bit, then I came to the United States and was apparently speaking Arabic to everybody.” he said.

Kelly, with QG, went undercover on various social media platforms including Reddit, Quora, Wikipedia, Twitter and Instagram where he answers questions posed by fans.

He addresses his most recent movie cameos on ‘BirdBox’, the indie film ‘Big Time Adolescence’ and speaks about other projects slated for 2020 release.
