The General Elections are fast approaching. As we enter into the last weekend before exercising our democratic rights as Kenyans, below are amazing events to jumpstart your August. One Nation One Worship

One Nation One Worship is happening at the KICC on Friday 5th August from 6 pm. The worship concert aims to gather the nation for prayer before the election and to remember what God has done for us as individuals and as a country. Entry is absolutely free. The event will also be streamed live on ICC’s YouTube channel and Facebook Page.

Muze Open Air

Multi-Platinum Selling and Award-Winning DJ Mobi Dixon is the headlining artist of the Muze Open Air concert taking place this Saturday. The show is going down at the Sankara in Westlands from 2 pm. In addition to Mobi, resident DJs Dylan-S, Lee .M., Xan Woods, Riz, Jero, Hiribae, Vidza, L.A. Dave, Enchan, and AFU will also grace the Open Air Stage. Folk Fusion

The Glow Up edition of Folk Fusion is going down in Kikuyu on Saturday 6th August. The show which aims to celebrate African Music, Africans, and Africa will be graced by Savara, DJ Mura, Serro, Ayrosh, and Ally Fresh among others. Tickets are available on Hustle Sasa.

The comic show Because You Said So is taking place at Braeburn Gitanga Road on Saturday 6th August. This follows successful events in the recent past. Kenya To the World Versus Edition

Radio 254 and Sol Generation are hosting the inaugural edition of Kenya To The World Versus on Saturday 6th August. The show which is taking place at the Ole Sereni will see Sol Generation signees Nviiri and Bensoul battle in an exciting music challenge. Gates open from 11 pm. The Park & Chill concert is happening at the Carnivore Grounds on Sunday 7th August. Under the promise of being bigger and better, the event will be graced by top Kenyan DJs. On Sunday 7th August, all roads lead to The Marie Pierre Sunday Afternoon BBQ at the Taiyana Gardens, Garden Estate. According to the organizers, this event is serving a fun-filled afternoon packed with a wide array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian grilled foods, music, and kiddie activities.
