Amapiano Star Taylor ICU to Perform in Nairobi

Amapiano ‘Mnike’ hit maker Austin Baloyi, who goes by the alias Taylor ICU, has confirmed that he will be performing in Kenya. 

Through an Instagram post, the singer confirmed that the show will be held on August 19 at the winning post, Ngong Race Course.

“Its Taylor ICU caught me in Nairobi, Kenya on the 19th of August. Let’s go rock and have a blast,” said Taylor.

Taylor will be among the first Amapiano artists to perform in Kenya since the genre acquired global recognition.

The news has excited Kenyans with a section expressing anticipation for the show. 

“Welcome..lakini achunge asipelekwa ICU after show we Kenyans light up shows like crazy,” commented a fan on his post.

Taylor ICU is a fast-rising Amapiano musician who was born and raised in Tembisa, Johannesburg. His career officially kicked off in 2006 when he was a teenager. 

He gained international recognition when his Mnike hit song clocked 2.7 million on YouTube within two months.
