All Is Set For The Premiere of Kenya’s Next Biggest Film, A Grand Little Lie

The Kenyan film industry keeps getting bigger and bigger as it is set to usher in yet another grand movie. Produced by Phil It Productions, Kenya’s next biggest film dubbed A Grand Little Lie (GLL) will be premiering this Friday 1st October 2021.

According to the organizers, this premiere will take place at the Nairobi Cinema. Doors will open from 5 pm for the red carpet and the screening will begin at 7 pm. A Grand Little Lie is a story about a young man called Joe whose people-pleasing and deceitful ways cost him dearly after his lies eventually catch up with him.

Written and directed by respected Kenyan filmmakers Abel Mutua and Philip Karanja respectively, the plot is packed with unexpected twists and turns and a great dose of humor. The official trailer is out and you can view it by clicking here.

Rated PG 16 GLL is packed with Kenyan A-list actors, such as Michael Munyoki, Mercy Mutisya, Bilal Mwaura, Catherine Kamau, Nyokabi Macharia, and Sauti Sol singer Bien just to mention a few. After the premiere, the film later will have 3 other screenings on 2nd October 2021 at selected cinemas.

A Grand Little Lie is yet another addition to the stupendous catalog that Phil It Productions boasts of. Other programs under this production house include Hullabaloo Estate, Andakava, MaEmpress, and Sue Na Jonnie among others.
