Open Cinema is back again. Dubbed the Valentine’s Edition, the concert will be taking place at Karen Blixen Museum on 19th on Saturday 19th February. This comes after the concert was postponed indefinitely from October last year due to health concerns over the COVID-19 virus.
Open Cinema is a unique concert series that seeks to celebrate Kenyan music, film, and culture. The stage of the upcoming edition will be graced by Sol Generation signees Nviiri The Storyteller and Bensoul. The two will be joined by Tha Movement Band.
The organizers are promising to make this edition bigger and better. There will be a healthy serving of lots of good vibes, music, food, drinks, film, and fun. Attendees will be treated to an immersive African talent experience that will create amazing memories.
Open Cinema held its inaugural concert in July last year. So far its stage has hosted amazing Kenyan talents such as Mutoriah, Nick Ndeda, Kato Change, DJ Curtis, Bugi, and Emma Cheruto among others. The concert has also streamed amazing Kenyan films such as Kiu and 18 Hours.
