The highly anticipated Tusker OktobaFest 2022 is set to go down this weekend at the Ngong Race Course. This follows 2 pre-festival shows that took place earlier this month in Mwea and Eldoret. The upcoming weekend festival marks the crescendo of Tusker’s 100-year anniversary celebration.
According to KBL, the festival picks up from where it left off in 2019 and will be bigger and better. Tusker OktobaFest took a hiatus in 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last year, the brand put together ‘A Festival Dekonstructed’ bringing the OktobaFest experience to outlets near consumers through intimate live gigs.
Its 2022 edition will feature exhilarating live performances from over 100 Kenyan artists drawn from various regions. Some of the artists set to perform include Khaligraph Jones, Chris Kaiga, Mejja, Nadia Mukami, Ndovu Kuu, Fena Gitu, Ssaru, and Maandy to mention a few. On the decks will be top DJs such as Grauchi, Suraj, Most Wanted, Shawn, and Chopsticks among others.
In addition to the live shows, the OktobaFest weekend will also see the Tusker Nexters talent search culminate to an exciting end. The 7 finalists who recently released singles, will go head-to-head after which the top 3 winners will walk away with the grand prizes. That is not all as KBL also promises to serve other fun activities during the 3-day festival such as games, food, and drinks.
Tickets to the festival are available upon purchase of a 6-pack of any KBL beer brands from selected outlets. You can also secure your tickets on TicketSasa and HustleSasa. Gates open from 2 pm till late on all the 3 days.
