The cake festival is here once again. The event which brings together bakers and cake enthusiasts, has been organized by Edumed Trust, a non-profitable organization, under the theme: ‘A sweet approach to educating bright needy students’. The Trust donates the proceeds from the event to the education of bright but needy high school students. So far, Edumed has been able to sponsor more than 400 students in high school, and also see their transition to campus both locally and abroad, since its inception in 1996.
According to the organizers, this year’s edition will partner with over 80 bakers and 10 sponsors such as Kenafric, Unga Limited, Kenya Wildlife Service and Prestige Margarine among others. The festival will be happening at the Kenya Wildlife Service headquarters along Langata Road, on the 16th of June from 10:00am-5: 00 pm.
