Pimples- also called acne, spot, or zits- tend to occur due to excess sebum production on the skin, and the pores are inflamed. Pimples occur mostly on the face, and some people are worse than others due to the effects of different types of skin bacteria.
From my experience with my previous acne, I learned the hard way that picking at a pimple can only do worse to your skin. So, what next after you wake up with a juicy pimple on your face? Here, we talk about three simple step-by-step guide on how to get rid of it properly and efficiently:-
Wash Your Skin Before Treating It
Use a gentle cleanser, and be careful while washing your skin. If you scrub the skin, it will only aggravate the acne or pimple.
Do Not Squeeze Or Pick At the Pimple
Picking at the pimple will make it worse, increase the risk of infection, and cause discoloration and scarring.
Apply Spot Treatments
Ingredients such as azelaic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid are great for treating acne. Additionally, over-the-counter acne treatments such as gels, creams, and lotions are very helpful to deal with active acne/pimples. Note: make sure to start with the lowest percentages to prevent skin irritation, burning, or redness when you first use the products.
