Bibliophiles assemble, here are some great places to have a bite to eat and find a nook to enjoy your current read.
Maktabaa Kuu | Main Kenya National Library -Upper Hill
The library reopened in January with a major facelift. They have a wide range of books for both kids and adults. The charges for adults both entry and borrowing is at 20 bob respectively while the entrance for kids is free, and borrowing is again a maximum of two books at 5bob (yes you read right!). The time limit for borrowing the books is two weeks however you can call and ask for an extension to avoid charging fees. There is no restaurant yet however there is a picnic area you can enjoy with your loved ones or a solo vibe. Check out a full review of the library experience below:

Cheche Books & Coffee | Lavington
Describing themselves as a Pan African bookshop, cafe, and community event space, they are located in the Lavington area. Their library as the name suggests is filled with Pan-African authors, the décor is refreshingly African. Check out their Instagram and stay up to date with their events this March.

The Library Kenya | Rooftop garden Sarit Center
Eat, Drink, Read pretty straight forward right? Located in Sarit center, their books are free to read while you grab a drink for yourself. The best part is that they have happy hour all day every day! Check out unique aesthetic and options on their Instagram below:
