They’ve been known for ushering in a new wave of style to the city – almost nothing speaks to the level of cool usually in evidence at the Nairobi Thrift Social – an event that brings together the city’s trendiest and most eclectic lovers of music and fashion – to network, collaborate and just chill and have a good time doing it.
And the creative vision of “2manysiblings” (Velma Rossa and Oliver Asike) continues to allow them to elevate their art.
Velma announced some pretty big news on her social media networks earlier:
Glad to share that we will be designing a capsule collection for @asos SS18! #asosmadeinkenya #sokokenya #asos pic.twitter.com/OCXSSsHFye

And that’s a big deal.
She, alongside Oliver, Julie Adenuga and Leomie Anderson will be the design heads behind the new collaboration.
ASOS is an online fashion and beauty story that seems uniquely tailored to the kind of style that they embody.

It’s aimed at young adults and sells over 850 different brands meaning it’s perfect for the person who loves to mix and match what they wear to suit their mood or the colour of the day, if that’s what floats their boat!

With a capsule wardrobe, the pair will be able to design, market and sell a mini collection through the massive name of the brand, that will hopefully lead them to a full collection in the future. But capsule collections are no joke, and pretty standard in the fashion world, allowing to put out unique, thoughtful, standout pieces throughout the whole spectrum of a wardrobe – from shoes to jewellery to headwear.
We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
